SHORT BUSINESS/COACHING POST I
​You want to thrive and make awesome designs. That’s your goal.
But it doesn’t always work that way, right? Or not? Have you ever thought: ‘𝘐𝘧 𝘐 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘕𝘌𝘌𝘋 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 .. ‘ And what would the answer be? 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲? 𝗕𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗿? 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸?
It is relatable?
Most of us have experienced it, especially in the early days of starting our businesses, grasping any client that comes along. Even the ones that don’t feel good or suit your expertise. Just to make a fraction of the money that you would normally charge, because you (feel like you) need to.
And the reason for it is: 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬.
We could say income, but it is insecurity really. When you are confident enough to know that you attract the right clients and income accordingly, you would not have take assignments that don’t fit.
What if you did not feel like you needed that client, would you have attracted the clients that you do want? Would something better have come along?
Of course you would never know, what is done is done. 𝗕𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁.

RIP TO THE OPPORTUNITIES WE MISSED  because of shyness and low self esteem.
𝗧𝗼𝗼 𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲.
In order to be successful it is important to be self confident.
Or let me rephrase it: radiate self confidence and positivity.
Surely you know the worth of your designs and designing skills.
To gain confidence you must know the worth of your business as well. Know your system like the back of your hand. 
Think about it.
​Would you hire someone who does not know his or her value? No. Why would you? It would seem like a long shot with an outcome that could go anywhere.

​Slechte gewoontes beginnen bij de voordeur. 𝗘𝗰𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗮𝗿.
Sleutels die niet in de jaszak zitten waar je ze verwacht en voor menig zoektocht zorgen in de ochtend nét op de momenten dat je te laat bent voor het werk.
De portemonnee die in die ene tas zit...juist die je gisteren mee had. Maar niet vandaag. Wat je zo'n superongemakkelijk moment oplevert bij de kassa van de super! Hé shit, weer naar huis - en naar de winkel - en weer naar huis door de regen. Leuk ook dat je toevallig vandaag de fiets pakte omdat je wat vaker wil bewegen. LEES VERDER

Is dat hoe het er uit zag? Dat wat je hebt gekocht? Hoe lang je er hebt gewoond? Waarschijnlijk is dat in mindere mate wat er door je hoofd speelt.
Meestal zijn het de momenten die je er hebt beleefd waar je aan terugdenkt. ‘Weet je nog dat we die bank kochten en dat we de hele kamer opnieuw moesten verven omdat we de verkeerde kleur hadden besteld? Wat hebben we toen goed samengewerkt en gelachen', herinnerde een enthousiaste opdrachtgever zich. LEES VERDER
